American Heart Association’s Lehigh Valley Heart and Stroke Walk
Extended Family Care of Allentown will be walking and sponsoring various fundraising activities to raise awareness and support of the American Heart Association. Heart disease is the number
one cause of death for both men and women in the United States. Each year it claims approximately one million lives according to the Heart Foundation. Extended Family Care of Allentown will have a team walking in the 2015 Lehigh Valley Heart and Stroke Walk on Sunday, September 27th at Northampton Community College. “We welcome anyone in the community who would like to join our efforts” says Carole Chiego, Administrator. Click on the team name “EXTENDED FAMILY CARE” and then click on “JOIN OUR TEAM”.
“This is a fantastic opportunity for everyone to support our EFC clients, employees, and family members who have been diagnosed with heart disease or have had a stroke”, Carole said. “It is also a wonderful chance for all of us to do something positive in the community as a team”, she concluded.
Extended Family Care participates in various community events throughout the year and is very motivated to support the research and fundraising activities of diseases that affect their clients, employees or family members. Each year they have raised thousands of dollars to support various causes.
