“We wanted to show them we are here to help and to thank them for their support over the past year.   They are one of the main reasons we are a successful Home Health Care Agency.”

Mrs. Chiego and her staff began their “Holiday Wishes” campaign in November.  Office and field staff came together and collected enough food to provide a substantial meal for each recipient family along with other donations such as snack food, toys, clothing and various necessities.  All contributions collected were assembled in baskets and presented to 13 different families within the Extended Family Care “family”.  Staff delivered the baskets which were graciously received by ten clients and 3 staff members and their families in the Allentown area.

Helping the community is something Extended Family Care has been doing since 1996 when they came into the Allentown area.  They provide in home services to all ages and have contracts with most insurances, community programs and Pennsylvania Waiver programs in the area.

Extended Family Care has been involved in various donation drives for the past several years and plans to continue to do so in the years to come.  “We want the community to know we are here to support them and thank them for supporting us over the past 14 years”, says Carole.  “This community is and always will be a part of our family”, she concluded.  For more information, please call Extended Family Care at 610-432-6766.
