What an incredible day!
On behalf of everyone at Extended Family Care Services, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all who joined us for the Grand Opening Open House of our new Lancaster office.
We were thrilled to welcome individuals, families, community partners, advocates, and supporters from throughout Lancaster County to celebrate this exciting milestone with us. The day was filled with smiles, laughter, and meaningful connections as guests gathered to tour our new location, meet our team, and learn more about the services and supports we provide throughout the community.
A Celebration of Community
One of the most memorable moments of the day was our ribbon-cutting ceremony. Surrounded by participants, families, staff members, and community supporters, we officially opened the doors to our new Lancaster office and celebrated the beginning of an exciting new chapter.
The ceremony reflected what Extended Family Care is all about: bringing people together, creating opportunities, and building a community where individuals can thrive.
Seeing participants take part in this special moment made the celebration even more meaningful and reminded us why our mission is so important.
Fun for Everyone
Our open house was packed with activities that helped make the day memorable for guests of all ages.
Attendees enjoyed:
- Face painting and creative activities
- Photo opportunities with the Lancaster Barnstormers mascot, Cyclo
- Refreshments and treats
- Tours of our new office
- Time to connect with staff, families, and community members
The excitement was contagious throughout the day. Participants proudly showed off their face paint designs, families gathered for photos, and guests shared laughs and conversations that reflected the welcoming spirit of the Lancaster community.
A special highlight was the visit from the Lancaster Barnstormers mascot, Cyclo, who quickly became a crowd favorite. From high-fives and hugs to countless photos, Cyclo helped create unforgettable memories and brought smiles to everyone in attendance.
More Than a New Office
While the Grand Opening marked the launch of our new Lancaster location, the event represented something much bigger.
This new office symbolizes our continued commitment to serving individuals and families throughout Lancaster County with compassion, dignity, and excellence. It provides a welcoming space where connections can be built, opportunities can grow, and support can flourish.
Most importantly, it serves as a reminder that the heart of Extended Family Care is the people we support and the community we are honored to be part of.
