Skilled Home Health Care Services

We provide home health care in Allegheny County, Beaver County, Butler County, Fayette County, Mercer County, Washington County, North Hills, South Hills, Fox Chapel, Monroeville, Murrysville, Oakland, Pittsburgh, Plum Boro, Squirrel Hill and more.

Extended Family Care has created a specialized skilled program for our clients who require medical services and prefer in-home care.  Our goal is to work with clients, their families and their individual healthcare network to create an in-home program that meets medical, safety and daily living needs while maintaining the comfort and convenience of remaining at home.

Our skilled nursing team can consist of any or all of the following:

Skilled Nursing: services provided through licensed practical nurses (LPNs) and Registered Nurses (RNs).  All services are supervised by a registered nurse.

Therapy Services; In-home rehabilitation goals will be set to maximize each client’s independence.  Licensed Occupational, Physical and Speech therapists will work with each patient as ordered by the client’s physician.

Home Health Aide: Under the direction of a skilled professional these highly trained Home Health Aides will assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, meal planning and preparation, laundry, shopping, and light housekeeping.  All activities are performed with client safety and independence as primary goals.
